Verl is from Northern Alberta, the eldest of nine children. She has 2 children of her own and two adopted and is grandmother to many more. She moved to BC in 1979 to find a different setting to become clean and sober. Her children became the focus of her life and she did all she could to create a better life for them. She went back to school, got her GED, then went back to school where she received a Certificate in Substance Abuse Counselling. She started burning out in this field then got a dream of a Spirit touching her hands. She decided to work as a Traditional Healer and chose Reflexology. She thought this would combine her interest in healing as well as help pay the bills. This she felt gets people on their feet and they also get a healing. She attended Touchpoint Institute for Reflexology and Kinesthetics in Bel Carra, BC and loved the work. She feels honoured to work on people’s feet and she looks forward to teaching all her relations at the conference about the benefits of Reflexology.

Merle Williams

Merle Williams, Haida, Traditional Healer & Cranial Sacral Therapy; Channeler

Merle originally got a teaching degree but life has a way of straightening you around so you get back on your path. From the time she was little she could see ‘other people’ but during those years her gifts were not acknowledged. In the mid-1990’s Merle felt a real pull to do more with her gifts. She wanted to find out if her skills were needed by the larger public. She also learned about the healing power of crystals and stones.  She left teaching and works part-time with handicapped children while working with clients the rest of the time.  She is able to hear the guides and angels of other people and does a healing by the laying on of hands.
